张亦农美国康奈尔大学人类学博士，2010年被授予上海市高校特聘教授东方学者，现为上海大学社会学系教授。美国维纳格林人类学基金会（The Wenner-Gren Foundation）刊物《Current Anthropology》特约编辑。联合国教科文组织（UNESCO）刊物《DIVERSITIES》编委。研究兴趣：民族宗教多样性，全球化与民族国家，殖民主义与后民族主义理论，社会网络，藏族、回族社会和文化。
